Many of you know that I embarked on an intensive coach-training program last year. My main goal in this pursuit is to build a robust coaching practice, and I’ve realized too that I aim to transform my life in other- more personal- areas.
I now have several amazing clients and am noticing how my work in this program and with my coach have impacted relationships at home, my views of myself and my abilities to actively choose how I show up in any given situation.
Coaching is a partnership and a relationship unlike any you’ve had before. I’m serious. It is a unique and powerful conversation that is all about you, what you want, and how to create a future that exceeds the boundaries of your current comfort zone.
Friends: Coaching is an EMPOWERING support structure. Through my work as both coach and coachee, I have learned so much. First and foremost, I have learned that life is a creative enterprise- not an exercise in discovery. That is, we create and generate our lives. For the first time in my life, I am experiencing myself as a creative person. And my project is my life.
I honestly believe that most of you would find value in working with a coach. Truly. I have a network of passionate people who can see gaps in their lives and desire to move their lives forward in at least one area. That’s really all it takes to ensure that coaching is a worthy investment.
If we are very close, I cannot coach you. It would just be too messy. But what you may not know is that in my program I am part of a team of brilliant coaches whom I trust, respect and love. My team ROCKS. These people are my people.
My intent in writing all of this is to encourage any of you who see value in coaching to reach out to me. I would love to share more about what it is and to explore with you what it could mean for you. If I cannot coach you because of our relationship, I promise to connect you to people from my team.
