I was lucky enough to meet Julie through an offering with my current employer. Working with her has given me a new outlook into my current professional journey as well as where I want to go, and what else I need to learn. As a manager, I like structure and timelines – almost to the point of being rigid. What I enjoy most about my sessions with is that she will blow up the structures I think exist and really get into the weeds with me about how to reframe viewpoints and lead with influence.

Julie’s approach to coaching is rooted in being human – which is refreshing and often missing from executive leaders in today’s climate. By understanding this approach and ideology, I was able to not only see but also understand my own core values, strengths and blind spots even better. I underwent an organizational restructure / started a new internal position during the time in which I was working with Julie and could not have felt more fortunate to have her by my side during that process. Her insight into the rollout and changes was invaluable during a time that felt scary and with a lot of unknowns.

What sets Julie apart from “typical” coaches is her ability to challenge and support in equal measure. She has helped me shift my mindset from simply managing tasks to inspiring people. I now approach leadership with clarity, empathy, and purpose – and the change hasn’t gone unnoticed across my peer group and management team. The people I work with seem more engaged, communication has improved, and I feel more aligned with the kind of leader I want to be.

Beyond the workplace, this coaching experience has had a profound effect on how I show up in all areas of my life. I’m more self-aware, more grounded, and better equipped to navigate challenges with resilience and intention. I can’t recommend Julie highly enough to anyone who is ready to get their hands dirty in order to grow into a more effective leader. I have chosen to continue working with Julie beyond my company offering as her insight into what my next phase of development might be, will be crucial to what I do next.
